In response to new government based nutrition standards in primary schools, PKL has developed the KitchenPod, a modern hygienic school kitchen, packaged inside an easy to install building pod and supplied complete with your specification of catering equipment. The KitchenPod provides an effective solution to both primary schools with no current kitchen or those who are looking to upgrade their existing kitchen facilities.

PKL offer a range of standard KitchenPods and layouts designed to cater for a range of school cooking requirements. These include regeneration, regeneration & cold preparation and hot production & cold preparation units. Although we offer a range of standard units, KitchenPods can be designed to be bespoke to end user requirements.

As well as being bespoke on the inside, KitchenPods come in a wide range of wood or brick cladding finishes, ensuring they blend in seamlessly with your existing school buildings and ensuring adherence to local planning regulations.

KitchenPods can be delivered to your school at a time that suits you, including at weekends or during school holidays. Once on site, our in-house team of engineers and kitchen installers will have your KitchenPod up and running and ready to cook school meals within a matter of hours. 

KitchenPods are available for rental or for capital purchase. Both procurement options are supplied with a fixed term maintenance contract.  KitchenPods are available through Buying Solutions.
